We had the privilege of working with a wonderful couple in Kirkwood, MO, who wanted to update their home. The homeowners were dealing with an outdated EIFS stucco exterior that no longer reflected their personal style or the charm of their Craftsman-style home. They sought a more modern look and decided to explore the possibilities of using Hardie® siding in contemporary colors and styles. Additionally, they were planning a graduation party for their son and wanted to create an outdoor living space to accommodate future gatherings. We had a hard deadline to meet, and we were ready to embrace the challenge.

Outdated EIFS Stucco Replaced with Hardie Siding, Plus a New Outdoor Living Space
- To transform the appearance of the home, we used Hardie siding in Cobblestone as the primary siding choice, adding a touch of elegance and durability.
- Night Gray Hardie siding was artfully incorporated in the dormers and two front gable peaks, creating a visually striking contrast.
- To achieve a cohesive design, we installed Manufactured Stone Veneer using Echo Ridge Country Ledgestone in Gray with Gray grout.
- Completing the look, weather-resistant Hardie® Trim, Soffit, and Fascia in Arctic White added the perfect finishing touches.
- We also installed a rear porch overhang with a stone fireplace, recessed lighting, ceiling fan, and mounted TV, plus a Hardie porch ceiling, column wraps, stone pedestals, and more. These added details created a beautiful outdoor living space for the homeowners to enjoy!
